I created a mould using origional sculpey making a negative of the design I wanted for this pendant.  I made a bezel and bail from copper, the green beads are pc seperated by glass seed beads all attached to braided cord and finished with a copper end cap and clasp.

Week 7

 Chained bead necklace! This one took me 3 days of work. I need practise on my loop making skills (that is not the correct term)  but I dont hate it for my first attempt!

Earrings! Made from the same shell's as the necklace.

I did make the hooked part (aka ear wires) aswell...
Not the greatest but the second pair with beads turned out much better and I even wore them on the beach last weekend!

Week 5, Wire bending and polymer clay.

You will have to wait to see this weeks art project to see my polymer clay work but here was my first wire bending experiment.

Shells were taken off an old hat that had seen better days, wire was then bent in to the shell with beads added, the chord is made of a hemp braid then the clasp is a simple hook.

Week 4 VALENTINE PROJECT!

Lined and painted keepsake box for Matthew. I also put love letters in it the week running up to Valentines and little gifts!

Then I made valentine cards "from Gracie" with some ink footprints I had done with her the week before.

I only have one photographed.



Week 3 - 7

Please forgive me for not having posted these as and when but with Gracie in hospital and moving to South Carolina, its a miricle I even have anything to post!


Week 3 Knitting -  This is part of a blanket I am making for Gracie, Also making double size matching for Matt. Same colours :) colours include, purples and reds and obvously blues.
